Chavivim of Monsey Launches $200,000 Fundraising Drive
Chavivim of Monsey is running a $200,000 fundraising drive to cover this year's $250,000 operating budget. The funds support the office, four response vehicles, two trailers, an EV charger, and the equipment members carry on every call.
Since 2018, the division has grown to 150 active members handling roughly 12,000 calls a year — roadside assistance, lockouts, flooding, animal control, emergency transports, missing persons, and traffic control.
This year's campaign is especially critical: a recent house fire destroyed the dispatch office, and all of the equipment in it had to be replaced.
