Chavivim Assists Stalled Hatzoloh Ambulance on the Palisades Parkway
A Hatzoloh ambulance stalled on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, and Rockland Chavivim rolled in for mutual aid — hood up, hands on, and a working rig back on its way.
A Stall on a Tough Stretch
The PIP is not a forgiving road for a stalled vehicle: narrow shoulders, fast traffic, and limited room to work. With the ambulance pulled to the grass off the right shoulder, our members got under the hood alongside the Hatzoloh crew and worked the issue down to a fix.
Great Job, Units
Units R-157 and R-121 caught the call and handled the scene end-to-end — the kind of quick, quiet response that doesn't make the news but keeps a sister corps' truck back in service for the next call.
Thank you to Hatzoloh for the partnership on scene.
