Chavivim Assists Ramapo and Stony Point Police in Recovering Stolen Vehicle

A Mercedes Benz van was stolen from the Ramapo neighborhood. The owner contacted Chavivim, and volunteers began reviewing footage and following leads.

Chavivim located the vehicle in Stony Point. Stony Point Police were called to the scene and worked the recovery jointly with Ramapo Police.

The vehicle was returned to its owner.

Also That Day: A Bike Recovered in Spring Valley

In another incident on Lag B'Omer, Rockland Chavivim responded to an emergency call about a stolen bicycle in Spring Valley. With clear video footage of the theft in hand, volunteers located the bike and notified the Spring Valley Police Department, which returned it to its owner.
