Overnight Vehicle Break-Ins on Twin Avenue Draw Rockland Chavivim and Spring Valley PD

A string of overnight vehicle break-ins on Twin Avenue in Spring Valley drew a joint response from Rockland Chavivim and the Spring Valley Police Department Friday morning, with surveillance footage in hand and a neighborhood-wide canvass underway.

Discovered at Daybreak

Several residents along Twin Avenue discovered their cars had been entered overnight — drawers opened, contents disturbed, vehicles left in disarray. Reports came in across the morning hours; PD and Chavivim mobilized to the block to take statements and document the scene.

Surveillance Footage Under Review

Lock Up, Look Around

Residents in and around Twin Avenue are urged to review their home security footage for unusual activity overnight, and to keep vehicles locked while the investigation continues. Anything that turns up — even something small — can help close the case.

Thank you to the Spring Valley Police Department for the partnership on scene.
